Admissions
Top-ranked programs. A Hokie student experience like no other.
In the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design (AAD), our students and faculty don't back down from tough global issues. In fact, we're inspired by them. Through an approach that crosses disciplinary, artistic, and international boundaries, we're preparing the next generation of leaders who are equipped and ready to serve in their communities - and across the world.
If you're considering a program in AAD, we encourage you to connect with us early and often. Learn more about our academic programs, both undergraduate and graduate. Get a feel for the student experience in our college, or better yet, come for a visit.
We also encourage you to reach out to current students in our college. AAD Ambassadors span a variety of majors and can answer your questions about the academic journey, college programs, and extramural activities.
Join one of our information sessions! The virtual sessions are at 6 pm on Wednesdays, and the in-person sessions are at 10:00 am on Mondays and Fridays.

Finding the right school and program for your career aspirations can be stressful. We're here to help. If you have questions about AAD or our majors, of if you're just not sure about some aspect of the application process, please let us know.

Come for a visit – either virtual or in-person.
There's no better way to experience AAD — and Virginia Tech — than to come for a visit. The university and our college offer several options for on-campus visits and information sessions, as well as a variety of virtual tours. Some of our schools hold on-campus and virtual information sessions for specific majors, so be sure to check for registration requirements.
