Looking for your peeps?

They’re out there — in the print lab, on the dance floor, with the band, or emulating Bob Ross while making "some happy little trees" (yes, there is a club for that). College is more than classes. It’s about discovering what you love, connecting with people who get you, and networking with other future professionals.

Whether you want to design, debate, direct, drum, or try something totally new, AAD and Virginia Tech have a space for you. Not sure where to start? Check out our list below — then just show up. All it takes is curiosity and a little courage.

Catch what’s happening—because something always is

Three students dressed up in architecture themed Halloween costumes.

Looking to get involved on campus? Just keep your eyes open, because in a college with our energy, something’s always buzzing. We kick off the fall semester with the Welcome Back Picnic, and then fliers, Insta posts, and the people you sit next to in studio or class are your gateway to everything from pop-up concerts to art exhibitions to alumni speakers.

Make sure you don’t miss the AAD Halloween festivities like the annual costume contest and scary stories from Matt Powers, director of the School of Design!
