What is property management?
The property management program at Virginia Tech will prepare you to meet the complex and evolving challenges of managing residential and commercial properties. Through a curriculum that blends business fundamentals with housing and real estate knowledge, you’ll learn about property operations, resident relations, financial management, and emerging technologies in the field. The program emphasizes real-world experience through internships, industry partnerships, and mentoring opportunities that are supported by dedicated faculty and a strong professional network.

In addition to required courses in economic well-being, product analysis, business fundamentals, and action learning, you’ll have plenty of options to personalize your degree through electives and Pathways courses.

Hall completed several internships as a Virginia Tech student, including working with Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer and Weinstein Properties. Hall is currently an assistant property manager for Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer and a lease-up (new construction development).
